Divine Frequency Speedrun: Historical Demo Runs Guide

Historical PC Demo leaderboard snapshot

Divine Frequency has historical runs on Speedrun.com, including a verified PC Demo entry by KumeKazuma listed at 11 minutes 24 seconds. That is a result for the historical Demo category. It is not established here as the current Early Access full-game world record. The collected evidence does not validate a complete route, split list, or current category rulebook.

Read the category before comparing times

The checked game page separates Any% and Demo. Those labels identify different comparison scopes rather than interchangeable versions of one result. The specific KumeKazuma run page supplies the runner, time, PC platform, Demo category, and verification status. Those details are the supported basis for describing the example.

A Demo time cannot automatically be applied to the full game. The developer describes a planned Early Access release with two acts, while a historical demo has its own endpoint. The research does not establish a matching start and finish rule between them. Without those boundaries, a faster-looking number can be a comparison of different tasks.

An empty default view does not prove there are no runs

The research notes that the default leaderboard view can display no runs while recent Demo submissions remain visible. This is a reason to check the category rather than stopping at the first empty view. The specific verified run page remains evidence of its own result. A display state on another tab does not erase that entry.

The reverse caution is equally useful. One visible historical run does not establish every current category or its competitive status. This page does not infer an active full-game leaderboard from the existence of the old Demo result. It also does not label the example as a current world record without supporting evidence.

Strength-run references have a narrower meaning

A historical Steam player post links a Strength-attribute run. That is community evidence that such a recording was shared. It is not an official category rulebook or a complete mechanical analysis of the route. The research did not recover a usable transcript that would support detailed execution instructions from that video.

The later Low Vibration rework makes that boundary especially important. June 2026 notes change melee, charged punches, blocking, healing, and Duel compatibility. A sequence from an older Strength run may reflect the pre-rework rules. Compare it with the Strength build changes before treating the recording as current advice.

Build changes affect route comparisons

The November 2023 official update explains that changes to GZDoom core files made older saves incompatible. The June 2026 update separately adjusts lighting, blockages, and geometry in the opening areas. These changes show that routes and navigation evolved. They do not supply a verified current speed route on their own.

A result should therefore retain its build and category context. The existence of a legacy route cannot establish the placement of every item in a later demo. It also cannot prove that the same encounter bypass remains usable. The collected material supports a historical leaderboard overview, not an optimized instruction sequence.

What this page does not claim about speed techniques

No verified split sheet, movement exploit, or current-record route was collected. The known run's time is not a measured average for an ordinary playthrough. It should not replace the developer's estimated Early Access playtime or be presented as a beginner completion target. Those figures answer different questions.

For a normal first run, start with the demo walkthrough guide. For a comparison of historical competitive results, use the linked run page and keep its category visible. This article's source snapshot is October 25, 2026. Later submissions and rule revisions are outside that snapshot.
